Welded Tube
The welded tube of SS 904L is made from a band formed and welded into a tube. The process of the welded tubing starts when a steel coil rolls at the indicated gage thickness. The result is a flat strip spindle. The next step is to cut the strip according to the width of a tube to be manufactured.
The soldering tube of the SS 904L is produced by moving the coupler across a series of rollers so that the seam in a chemically neutral environment is then welded. The welded seam is made using a rolling application and a heat treatment process is used to finalize the welded tube. Softened tubes can then be drawn over mandrels and the floor, if necessary, to smoothing the sold seam and to make the naked eye almost impossible to see.
