SS 409L square bars offers corrosion resistance, superior resistance. It is the low carbon version of the alloy, which is utilized for ease of fabrication.

SS 409L square bars has good resistance to oxidation and may be used in continuous service. With SS 409L square bars offers good corrosion resistance to increase high temperature properties. SS 409L square bar is an austenitic heat resistant alloy with excellent resistance to oxidation under mildly cyclic conditions. SS 409L square bars can be welded using all of the common welding processes. This is combined with better creep properties at temperature and is very tough and ductile.
