SS 409L black square bars come in both the cold drawn and hot rolled condition. The most square bar is 3′′ and below, even if it can be rolling soft. Cold drawn bar is shinier and the tolerance is much closer than on the hot rolled material, which is usually oversized. The square bar mostly comes with a random length of 12 ' but can be cut to order size. SS 409L black square bar is a kind of stable version of 409, composed with proper chromium, low composition of carbon and nitrogen and adjunction of titanium.
