SS 316 Plate

Stainless Steel 316 Plates are having the special structure which is made from the addition of Nickel, Manganese and Nitrogen. These Stainless Steel 316 Plates are of the same structure as occurs in ordinary steels at much higher temperatures. This structure gives these Stainless Steel 316 Plates their characteristic combination of weldability and formability.

Amanat Steels manufacture Stainless Steel 316 Plates in different customize designs using premium quality raw materials. We have an expert team that does their work in a proper way and produce a high-quality product in terms of usability, reliability, and longevity. We are one of the esteemed and renowned manufacturers who provides excellent quality Stainless Steel 316 Plates at an affordable price

Possible alternative grades of SS 316 Plate

Grade Why it might be chosen instead of 316?
316Ti Better resistance to temperatures of around 600-900°C is needed.
316N Higher strength than standard 316.
317L Higher resistance to chlorides than 316L, but with similar resistance to stress corrosion cracking.
904L Much higher resistance to chlorides at elevated temperatures, with good formability
2205 Much higher resistance to chlorides at elevated temperatures, and higher strength than 316

Application of SS 316 Plate

SS 316 plates are commonly used in chemical and petrochemical industries, food processing industries, pharmaceutical equipment manufacturing, medical devices manufacturing etc.
