SS 904L Pipe

SS 904L pipe is made of stainless steel 904L grade which is a low carbon high alloy austenitic stainless steel. SS 904L pipe is non-magnetic in all conditions and has excellent formability and weldability. The austenitic structure also gives SS 904L pipes excellent toughness, even down to cryogenic temperatures.

SS 904L pipe is having copper as an ingredient which gives it corrosion resistant properties superior to the conventional chrome nickel stainless steels.

The high chromium content in SS 904L pipe promotes and maintains a passive film which protects the material in many corrosive environments. SS 904L pipe has a greater resistance to precipitation of ferrite and sigma phases on cooling and welding
