SS 420 Round Bar

SS 420 round bar is made of a high-carbon steel with a minimum chromium content of 12%. SS 420 round bar can also be hardened through heat treatment. This provides good ductility in its adhesive state and excellent resistance to corrosion, if the metal is polished, rough or hard.

SS 420 round bars are the ones with high hardness and high carbon content. The operating conditions of martensitic steels are affected by loss of material's strength at high temperatures, and decrease in ductility at negative temperatures.
