SS 409L Plate

Grade 409L is a kind of stable version of 409. SS 409 L composed with chromium, low percentage of carbon and nitrogen and titanium, Grade 409L products have some properties like corrosion resistance, weldability and formability. Grade 409L has got lower chromium because of which it is low cost option for corrosion free stainless steel.

Grade 409L has a good combination of heat resistance and corrosion resistance, can be ideal for non- or lightly corrosive environments or applications. Grade 409L in high temperatures has excellent oxidation resistance and has got good welding performance, which can be used for automotive exhaust pipes or oil equipment.
