Hastalloy C22 Welded Pipe

Hastelloy C22 is a flexible nickel-chromium molybdenum-twindow austenitic alloy, also known as C22 alloy with enhanced pitting, corrosion of the crevix and cracking of stress. The high content of chromium provides good oxidation resistance, while the content of molybdenum and tungsten gives high resistance to reduction. The steel-based nickel alloy has great resistance to aqueous oxidation, including wet chlorine and nitric acid-containing combinations, or chlorine ion oxidizing acids.

Many corrosives resist the oxidation of chlorides, liquid chlorine, formic and acetic acids, ferric and cupric chlorines, sea water, salt and many chemical solutions, organic and inorganic, including mixed or polluted. The nickel alloy provides also the best resistance to situations in which the process streams encounter reducing and oxidizing conditions. This is helpful when such "upset" situations happen frequently in multi-plants.

This nickel alloy resists the development of kidney precipitates in the sold thermal region, thus making it suitable in the as-soldered conditions for majority of chemical process applications.
