Hastelloy C22 Rod
Hastelloy C22 rod is made of a flexible austenitic nickel chromium-molybdenum-tungsten alloy with improved pitting, corrosion crevices and stress corrosion crushing resistance. The high content of chromium provides good oxidation resistance, whereas the content of molybdenum and tungsten gives good resistance to media reductions. The alloy of nickel steel also has outstanding resistance to oxidation of the aqueous material, such as wet chlorine and nitric acid mixtures.
The corrosive Hastelloy C-22 rod is resistant to the oxidation of acid chlorides, wet chlorine, formic and acetic acids, ferric and cupric chlorides, marine water, salt and many organically and inorganically mixed or polluted chemical solutions. This nickel alloy also provides ideal resistance to environments in which process streams meet reducing and oxidising conditions. For plants where such conditions "upset" sometimes occur, this is beneficial.
The nickel alloy resists formation of grain-border precipitates in the welded heat-affected region, making it suitable in the as-soldered condition for most chemical process applications.
Amanat steels is one of those innovatively engineered organizations that provide Hastelloy C-22 rod. Our Hastelloy C-22 rods are in compliance with set industrial standard. Our Hastelloy C-22 rods are available in different configurations to suit different requirements of the client.
